How would it be to take time out for yourself to explore how Mindful Yoga and Meditation might support your overall health and wellbeing?

Many of us seek the benefits that Mindful Yoga and Meditation offer – a greater sense of calm and ease amidst the busyness of life, the clarity to step back and respond more skilfully to the physical, emotional and mental challenges that life offers us and the cultivation of kindness towards ourselves and others that manifests as global happiness and wellbeing.

Through these practices we learn how to support our own physical, emotional and mental wellbeing by mindfully connecting to the body, breath, emotions and the world we inhabit.  Suitable for all, each of these days are themed and will include some gentle and restorative yoga asana postures/movement, simple breathing practices and meditation bound together with teachings from the ancient practices of yoga and mindfulness.

2nd March – Mindful Living

An invitation to explore how we might live and breathe the ancient teachings of yoga and mindfulness not just through our practice on the mat but into everyday life in a way that is conducive to both personal and collective wellbeing.

8th June – Mindfulness, Meditation and the Menopause!

For anyone who wishes to better understand this key transition (and exciting developmental stage – yes really!) in a woman’s life.  Exploring mindfulness practices that help us embrace this transformational process that can feel both liberating and unsettling.

24th August – Communication & Connection

Using mindful yoga and meditation practices to explore how we might deal with difficult situations in a more skilful way.  Understanding our own needs and feelings and finding ways to express these authentically.    Learning to listen and cultivating empathy for others and in doing so fostering connection and love.

12th October – Release, Rebalance, Renew with TRE®

A day of self-care as we mindfully explore how TRE® supported by yoga and meditation can help release stress and invite a sense of inner calm and peace.   TRE® (Tension, Stress & Trauma Release Exercise) is a series of exercises practiced mindfully to assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension and trauma.  TRE® is a self-help tool that once learned can be used as needed to support your own physical, emotional and mental health and wellbeing. This session will be suitable for most people subject to the completion of a health questionnaire.
