Following the huge success of her last visit to Yorkshire we are really pleased to be able to offer you another wonderful opportunity to meet Emma Slade (Pemi Deki) and to practice with her.

Once again on this weekend retreat Emma will share with you practices and teachings from the wisdom traditions of Mindfulness and Yoga with an emphasis on compassion, wisdom and life purpose.

Emma has a very accessible, engaging and often humorous way of teaching and invites everyone to attend some or all of the weekend sessions no matter how much or little experience you already have of these practices.

She has taught yoga for 18 years and is a British Wheel of Yoga teacher and Foundation Course tutor. Her yoga journey led to the decision to formally become a Buddhist in 2003 and, in 2012, to live under vows as a Buddhist nun.

Emma is passionate about teaching all aspects of yoga and Buddhism and in the value of compassion in action.

In 2015 Emma founded the charity Opening Your Heart to Bhutan which she continues to run with huge energy, working to benefit disabled children and young adults in Bhutan.

She has been widely featured on national and international radio, press and TV and is in high demand as an inspiring teacher and speaker.
