YOGA THERAPY
Integrated yoga therapy (IYT) promotes healing, compassion and wellbeing. It supports you to return to your innate sense of wholeness.
We are often disassociated or disconnected from feeling well and at ease with life. By learning to re-connect with the very essence of our being and the rhythm of life, we return to a sense of vibrancy. Remembering a sense of vitality, of curiosity and aliveness is central to our healing. Irrespective of our situation, of the conditions of our pain and suffering, IYT employs mindfulness to wake us up in the present moment, yoga to re-connect us with our breath, our bodies and vitality, and Ayurveda to link us to the living universe.
The IYT approach is gentle and kind yet firm in restoring pathways to health. The latest science shows the tremendous value of each of these ancient approaches to living well and in harmony with each other, our world and ourselves. IYT brings them all together to generate a powerful combination of wise living.
With yoga therapy, we become aware of how and where we are restricted — in body, mind, and heart — and how gradually to open and release these blockages. As these blockages are cleared, our energy is freed. We start to feel more harmonious, more at one with ourselves. Our lives begin to flow — and we begin to flow more in our lives.
